Open Day：Yew Wah Culture Week – Darkness and Light of the Middle Ages
Let’s take the Yew Wah time machine and travel back to the Middle Ages.
Journey through our campus like travelling back in time
where you can surround yourselves with amphitheatres and gothic cathedrals.
What a perfect chance to learn about the Byzantine, Roman, and Gothic history.
Yew Wah students and teachers will dress up as knights, monks, noble ladies, bards, warlocks and kings in the Middle Ages. The rise and fall of the Roman Empire, the Crusades, the Renaissance, and the change of the European domains will be presented to you.
Through the mist of time,
students of Yew Wah will discuss and share their learning of the history of the Middle Ages with you.
the causes of the Crusades,
the origin of the Renaissance,
and Needham's Grand Question.
